The South Coast of Kwazulu Natal is one of the most Beautiful Holiday destinations of the world. It is also one of the most incredibly under-advertised areas in the world. We have sparkling beaches.We have pristine wildlife areas. We have the most amazing variety of wildlife you can find anywhere. We have adventure and watersports activity in unrivalled variety.

What do we do with it? Do we develop it to it’s fullest potential? No! We pollute the rivers we kill the wildlife and our advertising in world terms is woefully inadequate. We have to wake up and smell the coffee (by the way the coffee farms are great places to visit) If not we will fall behind even further than we have already.

We have to clean up the environment, police the vagrants, clamp down hard, really hard! on all forms of crime and advertise our wonderful assets.

Yes! Life’s A Beach Magazine and the Beachcomber directory have an agenda here. Of course we do, but we also offer incredibly well priced advertising on a quarterly as well as now on an annual basis. We also have a website platform and linking system that will allow you to market your business worldwide on a constant basis. We also do quite a lot of free editorial. We would love to do more but we need the help of the citizens, who to a large extent own businesses in the area.

Our marketing team at Life’s A Beach Magazine and The Beachcomber Directory is growing by leaps and bounds

We have a fantastic new marketing person; Salome High who has lots to offer and I am sure will become well known to people in the South Coast region . She is a creative person who created art works for Sol Kerzner’s company in Dubai. (The Atlantis project) and I am sure she will be a great asset to the general marketing effort. We have also hooked up with a directory solutions operation who is bringing new marketers to the party.

The upshot of all this is that in December we will be bringing out not only a super duper Holiday edition of life’s A Beach but also the first edition of The Beachcomber Directory.

Make sure you grab a copy when it comes out. We will be doing an initial distribution in which we cover all relevant outlets in the region from Scottburgh to Port Edward. This will be followed by monthly distributions indefinitely from then on. Then in December 2009 we will be distributing the second edition. We expect that this directory will be hugely popular as it is brand new, attractive and comprehensive with great maps.

For those businesses who have not yet booked an ad in The Beachcomber there is still an opportunity to do this. If you do not book an ad you will automatically receive a free listing for your company. However if you have have not advertised locally before then you need to contact us ASAP to make sure your business is not left out.
